Quick and Easy Healthy Banana Split
Healthy Ingredients:
- Bananas
- Yogurt or Cottage Cheese (Dealer’s Choice, lol!)
- Granola
- Fruits of your Choice
- Chia Seeds (optional)
- Hemp Seeds (optional)
You’re going to cut the banana in half, lengthwise. (If you’re doing this with younger kids, you can cut the banana up, put it in a bowl, and then add the rest of the ingredients. This will help keep the child from choking on the banana.)
So anywho…
Add the yogurt or cottage cheese. I love using Honey Vanilla Greek Yogurt! Then add the rest of the toppings and enjoy!
Variations:
Okay, so there are literally endless possibilities for this quick and easy breakfast. You can use frozen yogurt to make it a dessert. Try using different flavors of yogurt. Or play with the fruits (mango, pineapple, oranges, papaya for a tropical flavor? Um, yes please!)
In addition, because this is so versatile, even the pickiest of eaters can find something that works for them! If you, or your kiddos, have texture issues (there are some foods I just can’t eat no matter how yummy!) then you can play with this until you find something that works for you and your kiddo.
